I am a Learning Adviser at the University of Waikato and I work with students at all levels and across subject areas within the university. As well as meeting with students face-to-face and faciitating workshops I create online resources for self-paced learning.

Introduction
Well that was an achievment. I now have a space to blog but the next step is to decide what on earth can I put in it. I guess because this is a course about facilitating on line I should introduce myself. My role is that of learning advisor and as part of my duties I have been developing online resources for students to access freely. This involves some co-ordination but it tends to be a space where students drop-in collect the information they want regarding learning development then move on to their next task.
